Introducing a free Salonikia VKF font, named after Thessaloniki – the second-largest city in Greece, also known as Thessalonica, Saloniki or Salonica. It is also known in Greek as Simprotévousa, literally “the co-capital”, a reference to its historical status as the Simvasilévousa or “co-reigning” city of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, alongside Constantinople.
