Introducing Kirchner, a free stylistic font that makes use exclusively of straight lines and triangles. Its choppy and aggressive style is inspired by the expressionism movement, especially by the wooden engravings of said style. Expressionism expressed angst through bold uses of colour and harsh outlines.
Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938) was a German painter and printmaker. He was one of the founders of the artistic collective “Die Brücke” (The Bridge), which revived woodcuts prints as an effort to link the past with the future.

Kirchner font is free for personal and commercial use.

Thanks to Pely F for sharing the Kirchner font. Don’t forget to appreciate this excellent project and follow the creative designer.
